Point-of-sale financing (POS)
While financing is offered predominantly in the digital space; traditional merchants are changing the narrative. The e-commerce industry is becoming highly competitive, and merchants realize that providing an omnichannel financing experience —not limited to online shopping— is paramount in keeping pace in the point-of-sale (POS) market.
Nemuru’s solutions allow you to offer an omnichannel financing experience to your customer:

In store or remote financing is initiated by the merchant: the seller initiates the financing application by selecting a product (consumer loan, credit line, etc.) and setting the conditions (loan principal, term, instalment amount, etc.). After introducing the customer’s contact information, the financing application is generated and the link to the digital onboarding is sent off to the customer. The customer completes the onboarding process, either in-store or remotely, and the financing application is distributed amongst Nemuru’s pool of lenders, thus maximising the approval rate.
The whole process involves both the merchant —initiation— and the customer —onboarding.
- The merchant can embed the invitation process into their sales channel (backoffice or CRM) —requires API integration—or by using the merchant portal hosted by Nemuru (web application).
- The customer digital onboarding is a separate web application hosted by Nemuru.
Financing invitation (merchant)
Both alternatives for initiating the financing application by the merchant are briefly explained below:
- Merchant portal by Nemuru (no-code integration): access Nemuru's white-label merchant portal and send financing invitations to your customers right away. Your customer will receive an email and SMS —the invitation— with the link to the digital onboarding process. The merchant portal allows you to keep track of your customer’s onboarding process in real time.
- Embedded solution (code integration): integrate with our API and create financing invitation for your customers directly within your sales channel (backoffice or CRM). After successfully creating the financing invitation in Nemuru, your customer will receive an email and SMS —the invitation— with the link to the digital onboarding process. Nemuru will send status change notifications to your API to let you know about the financing application process.
Digital onboarding (customer)
Nemuru's digital onboarding is a hosted-by-Nemuru web application that allows your customers to apply for financing, after having received the merchants's financing invitation. The digital onboarding is fully customizable —it is a white-label solution with a modular structure, key factor in adapting your customer's experience for different types of products, services or sectors.
